I’ve made it to New Mexico. I get The distinct impression that fireworks are not only legal, but celebrated. Every exit has a stand, every stand has a sale, and evry sale has a buyer. As I power along the sun baked road, I know I will blow something up in this state. But not yet we have 250 miles to the caves in carlsbad. Some of the deepest in the world… So we continue the slow burn accross the dessert greatful and optimistic.
Love Carlsbad Caverns! Good choice! Wish I were there!
