For those of you who have been following my silly exploits the Ford missions are over. I get to return the car December 1st at the LA auto show. I still might go on one last road trip to say that I’ve been to all the lower 48 states, but to be honest that magic is gone. After the month and a half that I spent on the road I have no desire to drive endlessly eating up road. Meeting my people was great and the friendships that I’ve made are still awesome but the 8-10 hours of ever changing window coverings, the not knowing where you’ll sleep, the shier moochie-ness of it all… that make it unbearable.
I still might do it though because I do like to talk… and hitting all 48 states makes for a great story…

I can see why you feel the way you do about the road trip. Too bad you won’t be keeping the car after December.
