Biography

Daniel Grozdich is as unique as his last name. His style of comedy is high energy mixed with deep contemplation crossed with bile and endomorphic skeletons. A fan of gelatinous insects and ionic implosion, Daniel enjoys collecting slugs and earthworms. Sometimes they are his only comfort. His musings about the universe, philosophy, a greater human experience, females, bitches and hoes gradually degenerate into a thoughtful orgy of hilarity. He continues to push the extremes of shampoo usage while consorting with mechanical engineers. Danny is a versatile individual who can complicate a picnic, yet simply distill Zarathustra. He is a gentile force of nature, like a lukewarm breeze that offsets an areas delicate ecosystem and spawns a microbe which breeds a viral infection into the local drinking water. In short, Mr. Grozdich is a catalyst for the very basic questions that drive humanity, asking non-himself but provoking others to ask them.

Danny, as he is most-often referred to, has been entertaining people of all ages with his unique brand of high energy and quick wit since he was a freshman at UCLA. The first stage he played as a standup comic was The World Famous Laugh Factory open mic night in 1998. Since then he has graduated from UCLA with four sets academic hours. He then went on to receive his Juris Doctorate Degree at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles. It was here where he slowly came to realization that he was put on earth for something more than to be a brilliant academic or bad lawyer. He started going to open mics again, quickly becoming a crowd favorite, even playing the main stage at the Comedy Store. In 2007 he started putting his comedy and energy into a daily Internet show called the Gradual Report. His wild antics often mixing with a soft, common sense approach has captured the attention of ADHD kids throughout the English-speaking world. With the support of over 14,000 subscribers on YouTube Danny flew to Washington DC to deliver hundreds of douche nozzles to the White House as a grand political joke. He was stopped at the gate, but later mailed the nozzles. After that, Danny took a two-month break to travel the world, going from Los Angeles to Australia to Hong Kong to Thailand to India and then all over Europe. Now that he is back from his travels he had recommitted himself to developing a career in comedy, resuming his popular YouTube show and developing others. In short, Danny’s wacky antics strike a balance between insanity and genius that have not been seen in comedy since the days of Charlie Chaplin and we look forward to seeing what he does next.
